1970

Founded as San Yes Automotive Industry Co. Ltd. in Tainan, Taiwan.

1975

Expanded production in FC casting.

1980

Introduced O.E. brake master cylinders to CHINA MOTOR Co. (Mitsubishi Taiwan) with monthly capacity of 40,000pcs.

1984

Began producing disc-type brakes.

1985

Signed technological cooperation agreement with BENDIX Corporation USA and SAITAMA KIKI Co, Ltd. Japan. Inaugurated domestic aftermarket sales and distribution through sister company Beneco Enterprise Co. Ltd.

1987

Signed technological cooperation agreement with KYOWA Casting Co., Ltd. Japan.

1989

Achieved FORD Q101 Quality System Standard.

1990

Entered into joint venture with Continental Teves to produce O.E. brake vacuum boosters and disk brake calipers.Introduced Material Resource Planning computerized system. Obtained CNS standard through BSMI, R.O.C.  

1992

Launched JV Sanyco Grand Company in Malaysia to supply PROTON SAGA (Mitsubishi Malaysia) O.E. brake master cylinder assembly.

1993

Granted LUCAS UK Grade A quality assessment; Chin Chung Motor grade A process control assessment; and obtained Kuozui Motors (TOYOTA) Excellent Quality Award.

1994

Qualified for ISO 9002 Quality Assurance System. Supplied O.E. intake manifold to CHINA MOTOR Co. (Mitsubishi Taiwan).

1996

Manufactured 8-Valve cylinder head and manifolds through technological cooperation with A.L.DUNN UK.

1998

Acquired UL QS-9000 quality system certificate. Began mass production of 8-Valve cylinder head for CEC Engine.

1999

Began supplying master cylinders, wheel cylinders, clutch master and slave cylinders to South East Motor (now Mitsubishi China).

2000

The company was renamed “San Yes Automotive Technology Co., Ltd.”Began production of master cylinders for MAZDA Japan and FORD USA.

2001

Obtained UL ISO-9001 and UL ISO-14001 certificates.

2003

Obtained UL ISO/TS 16949 certificate. Introduced 1.3 cylinder head low pressure casting technology.

2005

Supplied extrusion aluminum wheel cylinder of GM 2006CHE VHHR to Delphi.

Jointly developed brake master cylinders for MAZDA M6 in cooperation with Continental Teves.

2006

Began production of brake master cylinder housing for Mazda M6 and PQ35 Volkswagen Touran.

2007

Reached full CAD/CAM internal development capability for match plate patterns for sand casting, gravity casting molding, and squeeze casting molding.

2008

Developed and implemented Trivalent Chromate Passivating, Blackening Treating and Hollow Cylinder Body process in production line.

2009

Developed fixed calipers for sport utility vehicle.

2010

Developed new Plunger Master Cylinder. Achieved yearly revenue over NTD 800 million. Sold products under SANYCO brand in over 42 countries. Became the first Taiwanese company to pass all M1 level brake tests conducted at ARTC with entirely self-designed braking system.
